Im in week 5

 I'm in week 5 ..should I hang out in Nov OS group?  Dec seems a little too new.

    Jump on into our discussions.  Who cares if you're in week 5.  Post along with us.  We have people doing beg, int, and advanced plans, so everyone's workouts are different.  Just jump into the current bike/run thread and post your workout successes!

  • YAY Pulled plug on 8 min intervals Fri (I'm on a bit of self hack cuz have PT on Friday and been xc skiing). Had been all excited as I thought would feel so easy compared to all teh 12s.  Lasted 7 min and 5 min and called it a day.  Skied yesterday.

    Today's 10 mins included best ever interval since starting OS. Used  computrainer course instead of just handlebar monitor.That helped a lot.  It was harder in someways but made time pass faster.  

    The only thing I hate about that is that my watts show up on the screen and my CompuTrainer watts when I'm working hard are about 20 watts lower than the Ergom watts so I get sensitive about my teeny wattage. (But Jerry I was in the hot tub. LOL)

     I did Miami tri course. I have to laugh cuz I raced that course twice this summer both times faster than speed today, but watts on computrainer were higher that race.  At Miami Tri in Oct got 2nd in AG by 12 secs. Was so excited. But best part was listening to Hispanic announcer say "Pewaukee, Wisconsin" and you can hear him wondering what the....   That was some race.  It had been 90 all week so  I was going in steam room ever day to acclimate. Then that night cold front blows in...and blow in I do mean....25 MPH plus winds. Swim in pitch black dark and chop. Thought Id get blown of Key Biscayne bridge.  But was ready for cold and wind since that's all we had here in Sept Oct. hahahahhaa

    Irony is kind of funny....in basement in snowy WIS doing Miami tri course.
