Heads We Win / Tails You Lose Data Collection
Let the coaches predict your 2010 End-of-OS vDOT & FTP numbers. We'll take your OS Start numbers into account and then spit out targets for you. This effectively raises the bar for you, makes you more accountable, and gives you another reason to work harder in the OS!
If you hit the numbers we set, you pump up our starbucks accounts. If you don't, but are still happy about the improved fitness, well, you pump up our sbux accounts. Get the picture?
To fill out the data submission form, do your Week 1 OS tests and then please visit:

Thanks and looking forward to a great OS!

Thanks for this again!
Last year I surpassed the FTP goal, but never hit the VDOT goal...looking for some redemption this year but I still want challenging goals.

How do we find out what our goals (the bet) numbers are? Are they emailed to us or in a thread?
we'll put them into the sheet next week!

Dang, Reality check time ...
There should be some kind of fudge factor points added for VDot run done as a transition run following bike test ... but as I saw Marianne say previously ... Bike test w/o a PM (my Ergomo DIED) is just a long hard interval producing a somewhat nebulous LTHR and then some environmentally dependent distance/speed data ...
Is there going to be another round for those of us who are starting the OS in January?
oooh, did I say all of that??!!! lol. you are still a machine even without a PM!!
Well I embellished your words a "little" ...
tom
Where do we get the results?
Link or email or message board???
Hitting this today...sorry for the delay! Will be posted in same spreadsheet for y'all....
P
Looking forward to the results! Is there a link to the spreadsheet somewhere? The only link I can find is to the input form.
Thanks!
Mike
oops, sorry! here's the link to the form itself (should be in "alert box" on top of dashboard as well, your default EN starting place):

Poor Haligan.....I about fell out of my chair seeing his target.
Time to get to work on the run for me

Male and female versions of vDOT Vs Age, FTP Vs Age and W/Kg Vs Age. These provide a visual representation on the range of the team. Boy we have some strong fast people as part of the team. I was not able to figure out how to get trend line in the online chart. Done in excel youget the expected down ward sloping performace as we as age. One exception was male FTP Vs Age. There are some real monsters FTP over 40 that pushed the trend line to an upslope.
I wonder if we could structure some % improvement based challenge between the 3 Offseason teams. Could be interesting.
I plan on happily buying both Rich and Patrick coffee !!
Matt
Rich,
I've manually entered my starting FTP in the sheet. Again, sorry for the delay.
