  • I've got a quarq on the bike, and I use the garmin 310xt for power and running. I ride all winter on a KK road machine. My new bike has actually never been ridden a mile on the road.... kinda sad actually. The weather here in the winter is absolutely terrible.
  • @David - The SRAM S975 is the quarq I have and it is awesome. There is barely a difference in weight from the SRAM Red crankset that I took off the bike.
  • Indoor trainer:  CompuTrainer since 2004.  This is the first year I am using it like it should be used as I finally learned how to write interval programs the easy way thanks to the wicked smart team members of EN.  I also have a CycleOps Fluid trainer that I occasionally ride on with my powertap.

Powertap SL+ wireless laced to a Zipp 404 clincher.  I just started training with power when I joined the Haus and I am impressed at what a difference it (powertap + EN) has made thus far in my fitness.  I use the Garmin Edge 500 as my bike computer.

Bike:  Just bought a 2011 Felt B14 (Dura Ace 7900 front and rear derailleurs and upgraded DA crankset) to race on.  Still have a Trek TTX that I have been training on for now as I try to get my Felt position dialed in.

GPS watch:  Have been using the Garmin FR 305 since 2007.  I just ordered the 310 XT as the deal was too good ($299) to pass up and I like the features of longer battery life, waterproof, vibratory alert to set my run intervals (eliminates the need for a track), and also capability to mate with my powertap if I desire to.

Future Toys:  Aero lid.  I am currently in the process of researching the various aero helmets so if anyone has any opinions/recommendations, I am open to hear them.

It's clear PT is in the lead. I was wondering what the score was. So guess what I did for the last 10 minutes?

Some fell into 2 catagories and I only counted 1 PT if people had more than 1.

So based on my unofficial count here it is:

    PT- 48

    Quarq- 11

    SRM- 5

    Ergomo- 5

    Polar- 1

Have nots- 1 (or at least those who would admit it)

Something to keep in mind when looking at this tally is that this thread was started in NOV 2009 and only the last page or so started up again this year.  That said I still have my 808 PT wheel [it now has new guts in it] and have added a Joule.  Had that stupid Timex thing for a while this summer, sticking with the 310.  Hopefully my PT will carry me through til the super cool new rumored Shimano PM comes out, or at least the Garmin/Metrigear one.
