  • Rich ... In my spare time (retired, got a lot of it) I made some ride with gps maps stages 1-5. It has turn by turn directions. Some of the days like 1&5 I left out the early or late miles. I started the on the Santa Rosa stage, but got confused 2/3 rds in.

Still digging for detailed route info
  • @Rich - since you mentioned you likely will bypass the boring flats of Oxnard, I believe a good starting point for your folks for Stage 3 is at Foster Park, just outside of Ventura off Hwy 33. The stage course goes right by Foster Park, and that is really the start of the "fun" cycling of Stage 3.

Foster Park has restrooms and water. Here is the actual location....
Location: 438 Casitas Vista Road, Ventura. From Highway 33, exit Casitas Vista/Santa Ana Road

Thx but we're looking for more miles. Tomorrow we're leaving the hotel at hotel at 8:30 in the vans and driving the course to the intersection of Mulholland and PCH. A-group will start there, B-group will start ~10-15 miles further up the road. Probably at that A-group intersection at about 9-9:15a. Intent is to get the vans and riders to the bottom of Gibraltar with enough time for everyone to get as far up the climb as they want to go, with the vans staged at the bottom. We then drive to Cambria after the riding
