Welcome to the Haus, TJ! I'm signed up for IMLP next year too. I'm also doing the Patriot Half in Mass on 6/18. Have not done the Patriot race before but have heard good things. IMLP was awesome this year, so I can't wait to get back up there.
Welcome to the team TJ! You will find it an excellent family atmosphere where you can learn everything you need to know about achieving your personal best in all aspects of triathlon.
I'm Angus - I live just outside of Oxford in the UK. First season with EN - but have been following the newsletters & concepts for some time.
After a 10yr break, I'm signed up for Ironman Lanzarote next year. Throwing 2 kids into the melting pot this time, so hoping to get great things from the OS plan!
Hello folks I've been on the team for quite some time using the plans to my best ability ..i think this will be a breakthrough year for me and need to hold myself accountable so here i am... so i'm a lurker on the team but decided to start posting ..so here goes..after i completed my half ironman on Nov 7th i took a solid week off and now in the out season week 4 which i am hitting 80% workouts by choice to ease into it. on track?
Hey OS peeps- go check out the sponsor forum, two day group deal on trainers through TriSports.com --- Drainers ....errr I mean trainers go hand in hand with the EN OS and well, a discount doesn't hurt! Keep rocking the OS!
Hey OS Team! ok…this is my first go with EN and today is DAY 1 of OS…haha! My husband is rolling his eyes as he is knee deep in "marathon season". He is making fun of me already saying, "you are only gonna do how much??". I wanna punch him. I'm signed up for IMTX16 and honestly I have to say that I'm looking forward to having a community of accountability and people who "get" the process/plan that we have in place. 2016 is my fifth tri season but i still feel like a noobie in so many ways because I've not used a lot of tech equip or any longterm plan. The hardest part for me in the OS will be not racing a lot and focusing on more quality training. I'm really gonna need you guys!!! Thanks in advance!!
Welcome Stephanie! Next time he rolls his eyes, tell him you'll be swimming 2.4 miles and cycling 112 miles as a warmup for YOUR marathon...what's his warmup?
Welcome Stephanie, there was a t-shirt spotted in Kona a couple of years ago that said, "So you've done a marathon, how cute" Get one now for when you finish that IM. BTW, you've come to the right place.

HA! Back when I was an ultra-runner geek (50 mile +) and after my first 50, my friend got this embroidered on the back of the event jacket and the name on the front. He was my SAG at many events and would yell "Run, Forrest, Run" as I would enter aid stations. Was a GREAT time every time. Can't believe I used to run marathons as catered training days. :-)
I don't where the jacket often cuz it comes off as kind of cocky to me, but fun to have when I do.
Mark…..I know right!! The thing is my hubby has always been a runner. John, you understand, he's training for his first 100-miler (yours truly has been recruited as Sherpa!!) He has a totally different mindset. He's done marathons for years. Me the last 5 years. Running is definitely his thing. Traveling and marathon-ing is our THING!! But these last few years IM-ing has become MY thing!! I'm ready to see how far I can take this THING!!! Looking forward to the OS and definitely getting more connected. Thanks you!!!
Stephanie, if he's training for a 100 miles then perhaps you should get him a t-shirt to wear at your IM that says, "So you've done an Ironman, how cute." And he can wear it while he's your sherpa. You're going to have to train to be his sherpa. That's going to be a tough task.
Haha!! i love the t-shirt idea!! Training to be his Sherpa will definitely tough. I think more mentally than physically. I'm so looking forward to it though. I get to boss him around ….haha!!!
