I had a solid 61'/8 mile run today. Sunny but temps, with the wind chill, were in the upper teens. I'm feeling a fitness boost as my TRP pace is about 10-15 seconds faster or I was trying to get out of the cold. Hope everyone had a great Week 1! Make sure you're recovering well on the off/easy days...you might feel great now but after 3-4 weeks, the cumulative fatigue will hit.
Woke up feeling cruddy yesterday so didn't run till the afternoon. I actually felt better during and after the run for quite a while! Did the prescribed, but didn't push hard as the hr was elevated all run. I did the 7 way hips prior and liked it! I also did my myrtle exercises post run. Rolled really well before bed.
Today I only rode 90', but got 35' brick time afterwards. It was 57 when I started riding and by the time I ran my feel were pretty cold! Stumpy run for the first mile or so. No fan for me today!
Great job @Derrek Sanks, I did not get that long of a run in. Today is a work day for me so I just finished my run. A quick 3.1 to get me over 30 miles for the week. RDP
25' on the treadmill for my 3rd run/walk of the week. Looking to keep bumping up running and overall time. My time line has 2 more weeks of this then looking for 4X running the following week.
35 run miles this week. My goal was just to get into the OS routine. Done. Pretty slow today after a good 20K race yesterday. My first post of the JOS!
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. If you want both, go EN!
