  • Hey Gina,

Thanks for the prompt notes! Maybe clean them up (on a computer with a working X ), send to me as an email, I'll add my notes and we'll get everything up and in the store, in the forum early next week. We're holding off on the images .

The men's stuff fits true to size. I'll add my notes. Currently in a hotel in Porterville, post Mexican, 2 x Dos Equis and a strawberry shake, listening to Sawiris and Haroon talking like a couple of scared little girls about tomorrow's ride

  • The kits sound AWESOME! And, being an Athena, I definately am down for larger size options!!! And Nemo, if you have an EN Chica visor left, I'd love to buy it.
PM me w/info. and your addy. I'll send you some $$.
  • EDITED VERSION

The Ladies Fit KIt arrived today (along with treats for Indie & Belle, THANKS Uncle Rich!).

Fabric: Lightweight, breathable mesh. Finish shouldn't be "shiny"

Top: 3/4 length, recessed zipper. Large, single pocket in back. I am 36" in the chest & a large fit me comfortably snug. Susanna is 34" in the chest & the small fit her comfortably as well. The length however is another matter for her. In the small it barely covered her belly button ( she is long waisted).

I measured XL front and back:

Present kit : 18.5" neck to hem front/20" in back

LG kit:   17.25 neck to hem front/22.5" back

So, the LG top is longer in the back, but shorter in the front. No tramp stamp burns, but you better have the 6 pack ready.

Shorts: Fit true to sizing. I was comfortable in a medium. Tri pad was soft, not bulky. Inseam on a lg was 5", hit me mid thigh.

I can't imagine anyone in the haus needing an ex-small ( even Neems) & for our athena girls (trying to be diplomatic ) the XL top will be snug.

I have some pictures on my phone, but not sure how to load now that the icon is gone.

    Questions anyone??

Thanks, Gina. I was wondering if Susanna tried size M. Does it cover her belly button? I am 5'3", 117 lbs, 34" chest, and trying to decide if I need to order M instead as I don't want to show my tummy.

Yasko, she did not try the medium, but she is 5'9" & 123#. You would likely go with the medium, not the small.

  • #1 ) Me (5'8", 128#) in *L top & Med shorts

    #2) Su in small top

    #3) Me in LG top

  • Wow, are we ever going to be rockin' the abs. Leigh, will you write us an ab workout?   Glad to see the tramp stamps will be a little safer! Thanks, Gina!

  • One more of the back. It is longer than current kit.

Just peeked in here...still have access....hmmm....question for you G- do u like the fit?  Seems logical to me if we are changing the kit, shouldn't we get something we like and fits well?  I like the idea of longer in back ( I have quite the tramp stamp from last summer :&#160image and longer in front.  I personally don't mind showing off the abs, but really for me it is much more comfortable for long course racing to have tummy covered.  For me, seems like last kit, I was always pulling down and the race belt rubbed on skin.  Kind of irritating.  So, tell me again why we are getting new kits if same problems exist.  Guess I was envisiong a different style and fit.  My 2 cents.

  • Folks thanks for helping us pick this out. We are working hard to find an outfitter who can realistically get custom garments to 500+ athletes at a reasonable price. No one is required to purchase EN kit, but we have to go with a 90% solution here so that everyone wins. Doing things like mens at one supplier and womens at another would drastically increase our cost (and admin headache). I think these will be fine if you follow Gina's instructions. Note, she was fine in the top, but people with longer torsos had exposed abs -- like they would in any top. image Thanks for your understanding.
