I wrote a question and then erased it (related to the date of receiving) wanted by oct. 24 for race in Taiwan but sounds like that is not gonna happen. Other question relates to discount code, without being reduntant, couldn't see anyone else writing about that, is there going to be one when you get "final pricing"??
awesome... the new shorts especially -- very pro cyclist-esque! And it matches my roadie and old TT... sniffle... the new TT not so much, but hopefully so much speed will have entered my body that no one will notice as I streak by them.
Question on the jacket, specifically the sleeves because I have a significant 'gorilla index' of +5. That is, my height is 5'10" but my wingspan is 6'3". The problem is most standard sizes are about 2" short in the sleeve.
1. When you tried on the jacket how was the sleeve length?
I am 99% sure this is the same stuff our local tri club uses. (The web site seems to be in the middle of a change, but you can see at last the front page at http://www.triracers.com/. Ours is definitely LG, and that Delfino sounds very familiar.) I am quite certain we use the LG mesh-y fabric that is cooler than last year's EN stuff. In fact, I kind of liked having the EN top recently because it was a touch warmer and gave me options. :-)
The shorts have held up very well. We wear them a lot as just garden variety training shorts when the bike shorts are in the laundry with no problems. Run them through the wash on the extra gentle cycle and hang to dry. Buy true to size like Rich suggests, not anything smaller. I'm no thunder-thighs, but I would agree with Rich about someone in the 30-31 inch waist. Go with the small, not XS, because of the leg grips.
My only word of warning on the sizing is in regards to the tops. I've worn my club race kit a bunch of times.
If your race is going to be wet-suit-legal, then ignore this completely...the tops are tight fitting enough for good aerodynamics on the bike and very comfortable. The fit of the tops is very 'comfortable-clingy' not 'compression-tight'. If you are concerned about racing in non-wetsuit conditions, or otherwise just WANT a skin-tight fit and don't mind the risk of a little waist-gap, you might consider sizing down on the tops. It still won't be "compression tight", but it'll be just a little smaller/stretched-out on you. My son (5'9" 130 probably) raced some sprint-type races where wetsuits were either explicitly not legal or only borderline worth the effort because of T1, and he chose to race in men's xs size.
Steve, your wife called so I made a "special" page for you......
Ouch, doode! That hurts!
You know how I know that's not true? If my wife called, she'd have made you redirect all my attempts to access the store to a custom page saying "Do you REALLY need ANOTHER tri kit?"
Still looking for some info on Capo sleeve length. I would hate to spend $150 for a jacket only to have the sleeves end in the middle of my forearm. Anyone?

Please see the part where I say the fit kit is in the mail to me and I'll have sizing information for you when I get it .
Sizing Question (for when you get the Capo sizing kit). The Vest says "Unisex" but the sizing chart doesn't have a "Unisex" size and lists "Vest" under Womans and Mens. I'm gonna guess this really means the vest is in Mens sizes, but can you validate that for us? A S Mens isn't likely gonna fit me.
Didn't see this addressed yet, but I'm like a 28" waist and the sizing chart says XXS for waist size. Now I know my legs won't fit in a XXS but wondered if I'll take the XS or S because that's all you can order is the Small.

If I were Trent I would order the small and either use the drawstring or take it to a seamstress to get it taken in or something. I KNOW the legs will be too narrow for you, or for me, with an XS.
Just ordered my free tri top. Any chance I'll be able to rock the jersey at IMFL?
Bob, see my notes about availability in the first post. We expect delivery in January. That said, there is a "Singlet Loaner Thread" in the club house, I believe, where you can borrow an EN singlet.
Should I wait to order then until you know if you will upgrad chamois. They didn't have photo of the basic chamois but the tri air (next one up) is the one on the shorts I've been riding on all summer and is very good.
How do we order a Rich in a speedo button? I never got one.
Thanks so much for all the effort on this. I really want to fly the colors.
I hate to have to ask this but what is the return/exchange policy on this stuff . I am really struggling with the Capo sizing. I am right on the line between the medium and large. I am thinking of going with the large since I don't like things super tight, but I also don't want them to be baggy, especially the cool jacket!
Rich, I already ordered, I see you mentioned you tightening up prices, will I have any issues with that? Also, I will mention to all that the Capo (tops anyway) do run small but are awesome jerseys. I usually wear large, but even the xl was a little tight on me. I will say that I'm a stud have a HUGE chest but still it seemed small. (Joking here, but I do have a bigger than normal shoulders and chest)
@Julia, when I get the women's stuff back from Gina I'll take inseam measurements of all the sizes and post.
@Dan, Capo offers a Corsa and Super Corsa fit. Super Corsa, as I understand it, is skinny roadie, can't open a jar of pickles skinny. I'm 99% sure we're going with the Corsa fit but I've asked for a variety of sizes in everything and will post my notes.

Run Strong
I didn't even get a 2010 cycling jersey for ToCA.

Looks good to me!
Yes, jersey is included in ToCA reg. DO NOT ORDER, I will email you with special ordering instructions.
So... Am I really only allowed to buy XL or 2XL size tri-shorts? I think those will be too big.
I can't get anything other than those 2 options in the dropdown box.
Steve, your wife called so I made a "special" page for you......
FIXED, order away! Make sure you refresh that store page first though

Any opportunity for an option to upgrade to the Tri Air chamois if we willing pay more?
Have to say the I've been very comfy in LG shorts this year so excited.
Great design.
Rich, FYI - Just placed my order for my new member free top and it charged my $14 instead of $15. Don't want you hunting me down....
No, not for a one off, but I'll talk to them about pricing for upgrading all of the chamois on the tri shorts.
Won't the TEAM*EN logos on the side panels be upside down when in the aero bars?

Pete
@ ;Tim, we're looking into it.
@ Pam, we'll go with that upgrade and I've changed the price to reflect. You can order the shorts now.
@ Peter, I suggest you sit tight until I get the fit kit and can give feedback, take measurements, etc.
What's the inseam length on the womens small tri shorts? I read that the large was 5", but I find I like the 3" shorts a lot better... Thanks!!

SICK looking kit! Love it! Will definitely be ordering when the cycling fit sizing is nailed!
