Good grief a lot of questions here. After this, Rich can open a clothes store called "Fast and Awesome" with the catch phrase "Your going to the like way you time trial."
B E A U T I F U L stuff, was ordering and got to the discount code and didn't place the order. I see that someoe else asked and was guided here but I coudn't find it either . Also, I just dropped a ton on a new Power Meter so a little cash poor, however I am in the S, XS group size (which you mentioned will be limited). How long do you think I can wait to place order without missing out (It was over $500!!), I liked everything
Waiting for the Capo fit notes. Any idea when those will come so I can put a tickler on my calendar to come back/check/buy? I don't expect them to change what I think I fit, but then last year's stuff sure was waaay small, and you'd hate to find that out after the fact.
Steve, your wife called so I made a "special" page for you......
Ouch, doode! That hurts!
You know how I know that's not true? If my wife called, she'd have made you redirect all my attempts to access the store to a custom page saying "Do you REALLY need ANOTHER tri kit?"
@steve - do our wives talk?? I get these types of questions all the time.
Rich, do you think the Large Capo bibs and jersey will work for somebody like myself that's a bit smaller in the waist (30") and taller (6ft)? I normally wear a Medium in most jerseys and bibs, but it sounds like this stuff runs small. Thanks.
If you still have the Large/Medium Capo sizes, any chance you can bring 'em to the Banjo ride Saturday AM. I can try it on pre-ride

You will want to go up a size from what the fit charts say. Patrick will provide his feedback for taller guys. The torso length for the medium and large jersey seemed the same but it got tighter across the chest from large to medium. From large to XL, it was looser across the chest and the torso was longer. I think if you went with a medium bib, the shorts might fit you, because if your waist, but the straps would be too short because of your height. I would recommend large bibs for you.
Sorry, all of the kit has been shipped to Patrick and Gina
I love the new kits but after 7 IMan WI I have way too much red and black! Do you have any of the old stuff left? I know I'll probably get kicked out for even asking but... There's also a message that if I joined after Nov 2009 I should receive a singlet. I joined Aug 2010. How do I order the singlet?

Gigi, sorry, no old kit left except for very, very odd sizes.
Ordering: please see the very first post of this thread where I lay out instructions and discount codes for ordering your singlet. Thanks!
i'd like to get the jersey with the shipping/handling but then also buy the cycling kits because the stuff is awesome. how do I do that but only get charged one shipping/handling fee? Is that possible?

It's all taken care of in the pricing. Just, please, follow the instructions in the first post about buying your singlet by itself, using the given discount code to reduce the price of the singlet to $14 = SnH, and THEN come back and buy anything else you want using the 20% discount code. Everything will go out in shipment.
Coaches RnP - sorry to belabor the fashion industry/tailoring point here - but I am 217 lbs mostly upper body/chest; had borrowed Rich Miller's gen one blue EN singlet in XXL (no black border), and it was tight but wearable (see pic at left). According to Rich's notes, the new tri-top appears to run a tad bigger, so I sized down to XL - does that sound right? Alternatively, could I place an additional order for the 2nd size and just return the one that doesn't fit? Wanna get it right the first time. Thanks in advance JL
I sometimes like to buy men's tri shorts (usually less bulky padding and longer inseam.) What is the inseam length on the men's small and/or medium tri shorts? Is the inseam length on the women's 5" for each size or does it get shorter with smaller sizes?
All: no one peice. As I've said, the companies have minimum orders per item, likely 12 for something like a one peice tri suit. No way would make that minimum.
Cycling bibs vs shorts: bibs are just MUCH more comfortable. Once you go bibs, you'll never go back, trust us.
Tri shorts: thiner, smaller, much thinner chamois = MUCH better to swim and run in after the bike than cycling shorts (think running in a wet diaper for cycling shorts).
@JL, that top was by Champion Systems, not sugoi. That top fit more true to size than Sugoi. IOW, with Sugoi, you went to the size chart, picked your size based on your measurement, got your stuff and it was either too small or very tight. Tight as a function of the fit but also the fabric. With LG, it fits true to size and the fabric is much thinner and more flexible, if that make sense. Bottomline is to fit yourself via the LG chart and don't compare that chart, the fit of Rich's kit to the LG stuff.
One more question- if Im am between sizes for the women's tri kit, is it better to size up or down?
I think it's personal preference about how you want to your kit to wear during a race. I prefer mine to be on the tight (I hates having stuff flapping around) but cool side (I hate to be hot), so I would go down.
With gals.....dog knows I can't figure you gals out . Seems to me that the ladeez always want the shorts to fit on the small side (much talk about inseam length while the boyz never ask about it) and the tops to be larger...or smaller....or bras....or hell if I know .
I think I would ask Gina for her recommendation, as she tried on the kit and is pretty average size
Like Coach P I am 6'3 and wear 34 waist pants. I am in between I guess on the bibs and tri shorts in regards to length. Would you recommend a Large or XL for both?
I read your notes on Jersey fit. I am probably between sizes also. I am 6'4" 36" waist. Were you referring to an XL cycling top or tri top? Trying to figure out whether to go with XL or L.
Do you know what the inseam measurement is for the men's delfino tri shorts in size large? I checked the LG website and couldn't find it. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to racing in the Team EN kit next season.
Gina- thanks for the input on the ladies fit for the Capo stuff.
Rich- seems Gina got a few different style jersey's to test out. Can you confirm the "Corso" cut is the model we should be looking at for fit guidance?
Hey Brant. I'm 6'4" w 38 in waist and got to tri on a number of things last week after a local EN ride. Per Rich's suggestion, sent fit notes to him ... as I think he will format at post. If not, I'll post here with my impressions.
@Brant, fwiw I have several LG tri tops and you and I are approx. the same size ( me- 6'3" and 34 waist ) a large is pretty tight and somewhat short waisted and an XL is perfect.
@Nemo, I'm going to call Gina and confirm we're looking at the same thing. The Super Corsa cut should be the tighter, skinnier peep cut. That's how it was for the men's kit. I sent her the small mens Drop jersey so she could sample the fabric. We are going with the Drop fabric, appears to be more durable.
@Dan, visors are not in stock, I will have to order, but the product time is much shorter than the tri/cycling kit so we should be able to ship it all at once.

@chuck: I hear ya, man! I mean, what a crazy question! It's like asking "Do you REALLY need ANOTHER bike?" Duh!!!
I've added my cycling kit notes to the first post and have FedEx'ed the kit to Patrick and Gina for additional feedback on XL and women's sizes.

FWIW - I would opt for the one piece trisuit if it was available. It is what I have been using for 2 seasons.
Here is a newbie Q for all of you because I have never worn bibs or tri shorts, only trisuits.
When and why:
Do I really need both?
All: no one peice. As I've said, the companies have minimum orders per item, likely 12 for something like a one peice tri suit. No way would make that minimum.

Ladies CAPO Fit Kit Impressions:
MQ Jersey is relaxed fit, full zip, 3 pocket, sleeves hit mid-bicep. I found the sizing to run SMALL. ( 5'8", 130#, 36" bust)
LG s/s jersey- TIGHT overall on me
XL s/s jersey- still binds @ shoulder/sleeve junction & snug across back
Super Corsa Jersey is club fit, gathered @ ;hem, full zip, much longer sleeves that hit just above elbow
LG s/s jersey- more true to size than MQ jersey
Drop Jersey (Men's) is club fit
SM s/s- could not even get it together to zip. SMALL.
Wind vest (unisex?)
LG- big on me and long.I would size down to medium or small
T cut short- seemed true to size
I tried both LG & MD, for me MD would be fine
LG & MD - 6" inseam, hit me mid thigh
nice "rise" in back to prevent sunburn
1/2 " waistband & leg gripper
leg gripper seemed "loose" on my thighs in both sizes I tried
Nice fabric on all of kit, seemed well made.

coach Rich, I ordered a visor with my uniform order, are those in stock or are they on the same time schedule as uniforms? Thanks
Dan

@Jeff, the waist of the tri shorts fits true to the chart. So if you are a 34" waist, find that on the LG tri kit chart and order that size.
For the cycling bibs I recommend you go up one size on the size chart. So, if the chart says you're a medium, recommend you order a large.
@Brant, Patrick was referring to the cycling kit.
