Ran 5 today with one at TP. Unfortunetly did not take advantage of the nice weather. Should have been riding or running rather than skiing in slush then running on the mill. Oh well. Gonna get back on OS track by doing the Sunday run tomorrow. Ended with 54 points feeling fairly fresh. As always it was fun playing. Lots of very impressive numbers, 27 miles at TP? 100 miles? I would be terrified to try either for fear of injury.
@John, 24 at TP is insane. And I think you are right, we need to have a bit more ramp up next year. Going from typical OS volume to 50+ is begging for a trip to the docs (I've been brushing right up against a neuroma, tendon problem, and now my groin is tight to the point of failure. I'm not sure what I did to my Achilles - it was sore the whole run today, but wasn't getting worse so I just kept going. But when I got home I looked and there's a pretty good bruise on it. Not sure what's up with that. Mike
