The "Post Picture of Yourself in Your Shiny New Kit" Thread

Team,

Joanne and I dropped off the last of the October order of kit in the mail today (with the exception of the international orders, those will go out tomorrow). It was a lot of kit and I had to enlist the help of some puppy labor to get it all done.

I'm friggin' PSYCHED to see so much EN gear at the races this season! T'will RAWK!

So...let's see your pictures of you in your kit!

  • OK, I'll be the first guinea pig.  Got this just today and it looks great, but I'm sucking in my gut since I've only lost 4 of the 12 pounds I gained in the 6 weeks after IMAZ.  My wife says this is a better looking kit than the other one and will be easier for her to spot me during a race.  Can't wait to wear this in Germany this summer as EN goes international.  I hope the rest of my Regenburg peeps will post their pics so I know who to look for.

  • Awesome, thanks for posting! Anyone else!

  • Got my kit today. Looks awesome. Wife says they are way better then the old ones image. I'm in bed with iPad so pics will have to wait till tomorrow.

Got a full sleeve jacket as well as bike and tri kit. Kind of bummed I didn't get vest. If anyone gets a large sleeveless vest they don't want for some reason, I'll take it!

  • I can't take any photo I take of myself seriously, so I decided that if I was going to look stupid anyway, I may as well shoot for full blown ridiculous. So for your enjoyment, and my embarrassment, I present:

  • Love it Trevor! I especially like that you didn't take the tag off before taking the pics. Very Minnie Pearl of you :-)
  • Trevor, I say you see how far into the season those tags will last!!
  •  The kits made it to Iowa, just as the snow is leaving.  Thought we'd capture a bit of it before it was all gone.

  • OMG, great pics. Especially like the one with the snow in the background.
  • Trevor, I think you are TOO COOL for the rest of us

  •

This is my soon to be ex congressman from NY impression after getting done with 3x10:

Like the new kit.  Both the cycling and tri jerseys are a big improvment IMO.  Needed some extra motivation to get on the bike Friday night once the kids were in bed.  Shiny new kit did not hurt.  Gotta few lbs to go...

  • Trevor, I can not believe they are picking on you about the tag. I think it so cute. You were probably just so excited to get the kit on that you did not even notice the tag.
  • Everyone, that's how they do it in the hood! Trevor is so street!
  • Here I am just before Saturday's TT. My bad on the poor lighting; they took over a car dealership. image

No worries Brenda, Trevor knows he is loved

  • Chris- you crack me up!!! Love the look!

Gotta say, my SS Jersey doesn't fit nearly as "Euro" as Coach P's does! image
  • Since I really like you guys I won't post a picture of myself in my shiny new kit

Talk about appetite suppresion, you would not  be able to eat for a week after

  • At least I will look good while beubg crushed at the ToC!

  • What I'm liking most about the new kit right now is the fact that I think it will be easier to spot team members coming down the finish line on the live feed on race day :-) The former blue singlets seemed to have a lot of other "look-a-likes" and this red with the white band seems like it will be easy to pick out.
  • Coach P/Peter - very nice pics. You are looking rather ripped!

    Yep, that's my view.

  • John/Tom - to funny. One of my friends is a fast runner and I said to her one day "you know, its good that you have a nice ass, because that is all that I see of you when we run together". If you can't be in front, at least make the scenery from the back something to look at

It appears that Coach P and R have done a good job on the cycling jersey because they are nice to look at, but also look nice on.

Brenda we will need pictures of this supposed "nice ass" to verify your claim.

  •  Well done, Tucker.

  • @ Tucker, will have to see if she would be willing. I know my ass if off limits for photographs (all my friends apologize if they get one by mistake).
  • @Brenda, that sounds like a challenge

Do they often have to stop to wait for you to pee on the side of the road? image
  •  Ha! Now that I look at my picture......Perhaps should have been on the bike

  • Nemo - you are to funny. It does kinda look like Tom is doing something. Still a good photo Tom.

    Tucker - you are bad.
  • I try Brenda! But I didn't comment on your recent Dashboard status did I?
