OK, I have to post my own pics now since I made fun of Tom
Also, I thought it would be helpful for the Ladies who are trying to make sizing decisions. Pictured below is a the Cappo Short Sleeve Cycling Jersey (Ladies size Small), and the Cappo Arm Warmers (Unisex, Size S/M). I didn't get shorts (apparently we didn't have enough ladies ordering cycling shorts). My thoughts on the new kit:
- Love the classy & clean design
- Love the full zip Jersey. Ladies almost never get that option and it's a very nice feature
- Arm Warmers fit great. Sure, they are long enough to be leg warmers on me, but they fit around my small arms and feel like they will stay up with no trouble (unlike other arm warmers I've owned). They are soft on the inside, nice and warm.
- Jersey is long in the torso. Granted, I'm a short, but even taller ladies would likely find it a bit longish
- Sizes seem to run a little big, but the long torso throws things off a bit. I've got lots of room up top- too much to be considered a Euro Pro fit. But I'm a little afraid of going down to an XS because the bottom runs down to my hips and, that's pleanty snug . If anyone ordered a Ladies XS, I'd be interested in hearing/seeing how it fits.
OK, so my wife's on a business trip, so breaking out the kit, the only thing I could do was the slutty porno photo thing of using the bathroom mirror to get a grainy photo of myself with the phone. So shoot me. Strip me of my dignity. Complain that I didn't use some software trick to reverse the image so you could see the writing on the jersey.
But at least be glad the doors to the stalls are closed....
You look so serious in your photo, like you are saying to yourself all the things you just typed about abive :-). Looks like the kit fits quite nicely on you William.
MAn, this team looks great. Nemo, you are looking quite Mancona-ish with baggy lycra and polyester on. Anyone know if you can FedEx a ham sandwich overnight???
Finally got to wear the kit this weekend at my "base camp". Washed it before I wore it (like I always do), and then rode 85 hilly miles in it without ever having worn a Capo bib. The EN kit rocked!
@Aimee: HA, I actually had to go back through and make sure I was the Greg you were talking about! Look whose talking, at least you actually have a shot of you kicking butt versus my trailing butt. Mine was a lucky shot. Normally, my portraits look like this:
@Steve: Seriously, do you have to get a concealed weapons permit to wear long sleeved shirts?
@ Greg - It may look like that but in reality I am pretty weak. It's more like one of those lizards with the frilly gill things that they flare out to scare predators ... just before they run away as fast as they can.... yeah, that's more like me for sure..... then there are days like look more like your 'Nick Nolte' mug shot.... actually lots of days......

I really like the industrial-style decor in your bathroom. I guess you need multiple stalls with all those kids?
I am still waiting on my shorts so I will post up when they arrive so I can be made fun of too.
@Chris Hate to disappoint, but that's actually an "industrial" bathroom in the chemistry building here that also has a little-known shower. With the wife away and it still being February, I went out for my ride mid day. I can be flexible about coming in early and getting work done at home in the evenings, but no nice outdoor weather at night! :-)
Yesterday I hit the road at about 4pm for my "TT to the Top of Lake Ave" route, though didn't go totally nuts on the TT effort. Sun was out, very nice SoCal day, hitting the sharp hills, big gearin' some steep stuff and in general not being very nice to myself. Every now and then I'd catch a glimple of the kit while looking down (I like the red bands on the shorts), etc and thought "damn, this is some good looking kit right here!"
Can't wait for ToC and the tri rallies this year when we can get some group pictures, not to mention the racing kit!
@RnP...do you have any of the bib shorts in stock? I want to take your advice and try some...especially with some of these double bike Ironman weekends starting to mount up on me!

too self conscious to pose, but here's a pick from the top of the most brutal climb i have ever done, 4miles of pure pain at mile 80 of a 102.7mile century...extra points for the matching bike, right?
@Gil - awesome climb. Although we can claim Sugarloaf Mtn (17% grade) in central Florida, it is only a 1/2 mile to the top. We don't have anything that climbs and climbs and climbs! Wish I could have suffered up that hill with you.

Steve - nice guns
Scott - that kit fits like it was made for you - nice!
Jeez Greg, that looks like a professional glamour shot, totally LAVA ready - you are putting us all to shame
Here's a couple of action shots from this weekend's 10k TT - I don't have the shorts yet but I got creative

My turn! The kit matches my bike. And I have never had bibs before and I absolutely love them.

No, sorry.
My kit arrived just in time for RR#1 this weekend. Yes!!!!
Dottie, you looks mah-velous.
Wow, that was fast! I dropped all that stuff off Wednesday late afternoon.

the cold weather look is never flattering, but this pic at least shows off the team jacket.
