If you wait until after 2/10 you'll be taking a chance as we won't maintain much/any inventory. If you want to be guaranteed a jersey you should order this week.
Looking at the tri-top for men. I'm 5'8" 135# and normally a small. But, on some brands' tri tops, I'm a medium. I tried to pull up the sizing guide but it says it's coming soon. What do you think?
I have a comment on the tri top for any future orders. I ran in mine today, 6 miles, and got a nice little abrasion burn mark under each arm. I took a look at the tri top and there's a folded over seam right under each arm hole that makes a hard-edged lump. I included a photo below of what I'm talking about. My other women's tri tops that I use for competition have a seamed edge instead. Perhaps this isn't an issue for men??
I included a photo of one of my other tops below so you can see what I'm talking about. While I love the EN top and would like to wear it at IMCDA, I'm not sure that I can because of the abrasion-factor from this seam-lump. So, my .02 is that for future orders maybe find a tri top style with flat seams.
I was wondering, given the sizing of Capo items, will XXXL jackets be available for EN athletes?
The Capo size chart shows that I need a biggen' (XXXL) - the EN website shows that the jackets available thru XXL.
It isn't easy being a Clydesdale!!
And here's a hearty THANK YOU and a virtual high five to the EN Gear Guy! Having handled uniforms for a tri team in the past, I understand, appreciate and respect the challenges associated with ordering clothing! Triathletes are often very particular about their gear (understandably) - ordering clothing without the ability to try items adds to the challenges. You folks are doing a GREAT job! Thanks again -
After checking Louis Garneu website to get more info on Womens Tri Top, I am wondering what type of tri top EN is offering? I realize the material is Delfino, but what is the style? LG lists 3 basic types of tri tops for women: Lazer Tek ( Sleeveless or Top(which is the racer back style); Pro Sleeveless or Pro Top and Comp Sleeveless or Top. I am wondering because the sizing appears to be differrent depending on style. Some are tighter and shorter or longer and semifit.
Woody, Delfino is the fabric used in tri top, not the style. I asked a related question about style/type and looks like Rich is on it and will get back to us
The EN tri top that I just got doesn't match any of the women's styles on their website. In the sizing label inside, it lists a men's size and a women's size, so it looks to be a unisex-style tri top?? Or did I accidentally get a men's tri top? It has no darts or fitting for a women's-style figure, the cut is straight up and down. Now I am really curious.
So I'm in the EN store, I click on "Louis Garneau Men's Delfino Race Top (Size XL) and it says QTY 10. Are these in stock already from last year, or is that a phantom number and what I'm ordering will actually come in the spring (or am I looking at the wrong thing?)
@Robin: Jeremy should be contacting you about that sizing issue.
@3XL: is available and will soon be an option in the size drop down.
LG Tri Tops: LG has changed the name of our top to Performance Delfino. Everything else (cut, fit, etc) is the same as last year.
Jackets: they don't have a description for the convertible jacket, as it's a custom-only dealio. However, it's the same material, everything as the custom wind jacket below, but the sleeves zip off.
Custom Wind Jackets Description Our wind jackets are built with windtex plus, a lightweight, wind and waterproof fabric. The side panels use our v-mesh fabric for breathability. This is a great piece for temperatures under 65F.
Attempting to order a Medium convertible jacket. The "Buy" button disappears when I select Medium. If I select Large, it comes back, but I don't want a Large. Help?
All: sorry about the button and 3XL issues. You can always order and follow it up with a reply to the receipt, or to ENGearGuy with a correction to your order. We are making these changes as we go, so there's a delay between me saying here that something is going to happen and it being reflected on the store page/buttons.
@Lynne: yes, faster and instantly a hit with your friends. We put "Work is Speed" on the back for a reason :-)
Rich, sorry if you answered this and I'm just a little slow. Since there doesn't seem to be any way in the store to add a Medium convertible jacket to the cart, should I order a large and then email EN Gear Guy, or is this getting fixed behind the scenes and I should just be patient?
When I look at the pull down size chart for the tri top, I see an XXL available - is that regular or Clydesdale? As I understand it, the jacket will be available in XXXL - will the tri top also be available in an XXXL?
R 'n P - you and the EN Gear Guy are probably rolling your eyes and dropping to the ground in an convulsive-like state, wondering why we ask soooooo many stoopid questions!!
Is anyone else but me having problems getting the site to accept my order? I've tried to place an order three different times since this offer started, each time I get the following error: Error 2: The configuration with processor is invalid. Call Merchant Service Provider.
I've e-mailed support at Marathon Depot and haven't received a response.
Comments
Can someone take a pic if they have that combo and post it?
@Dottie: think jersey material but with a very light…loft?…a tiny bit fuzzy on the inside, for a little insulation.
@Scott: the reds don't match exactly but are very close. I raced IMWI in red DeSoto tri bibs and the EN top. Looks good but not an exact match.

EN top :
My triathlon kit top that I normally compete in:
Am looking at ordering a jacket - just for clarification, the sizes for jackets would correspond to men's sizing, right?
The Capo size chart shows that I need a biggen' (XXXL) - the EN website shows that the jackets available thru XXL.

All: I'll ask Capo and LG today about these sizing questions. Thanks!
In looking at the 2012 LG website, I don't see the Delfino listed.
Do we know which tri top will be used?
More from me later today. Thanks.

and I would really like to get the jacket, but am in the same boat as some others here, re: being Clydesdale and needing XXXL.

@Rich - I am leaving today to travel out of country and won't get to order after today before the deadline. When will the 3XL be on the website?
deleted my post...looks like order deadline is 2/13 now
@Lynne: yes, faster and instantly a hit with your friends. We put "Work is Speed" on the back for a reason :-)
Thanks!
MG: it's getting fixed behind the scenes, be patient yo
There are 2 size charts:
Men's Apparel: Chest > XL = 44 / XXL = 46 / XXXL = 48
Men's Clydesdale Apparel: Chest > 1X = 46-48 / 2X = 50 - 52 / 3X = 54 - 56
When I look at the pull down size chart for the tri top, I see an XXL available - is that regular or Clydesdale?
As I understand it, the jacket will be available in XXXL - will the tri top also be available in an XXXL?
