wow that thing is awesome looking - - that makes my bike decisions even harder - if I fit on that thing I may have to have one -
How adjustable are the aero bar pads?
Chris, the bike is amazingly adjustable. It actually comes with 3 separate nose cones that sets the level of the base bar. The aero bar pads are on a series of stacked aero-shaped spacers between them and the base bar. The bolts screw through the pads from the bottom of the base bar. The bike comes with corresponding bolts depending on how many spacers are removed...no need to cut any. During my Retul, they pulled a spacer, redid the bolts and voila, I was more aggressive. Beyond the height, the aero bar pads can be moved forward, backward and sideways on the mounts.
Besides moving the seat fore and aft on the rails, there are three separate mounting positions...mine is the most forward. The seat mast itself rests on a shelf in the bike...no worry about the seat ever dropping (last year I did my flying mount on the bike at an Olympic and the seat went down almost 2 inches...it was a miserable ride). Once they cut the seat mast to the closest position, there are a stack of different sized spacers that sit on the shelf if you need to raise it up slightly. So for my fitting, they cut the mast...then cut it again, then went up several times with very thin spacers to get me in the right position. There is a silent you tube video...about 3 mins..on the Trinity that explodes the frame and shows all the adjustments that can be made. It's very fitter friendly.
Thanks for the info. I have actually done a bunch of looking into it today and that bike is now on my [very] short list. I have been waffling P4/P3 sticking with my Kuota cause I am not coveting either enough. The giant on the other hand is freakin sick! Also a pretty good deal at 4k retail for frame fork aero bars and brakes. The complete bikes are a good deal also. Only thing that bites is the total absence of bosses to mount a bottle on the frame somewhere. Such is life. Imagine I can fix that with a $3 hose clamp. Can even buy it really really local for once. Anyhow I am jealous but maybe not for that long
Give me a couple of weeks, and I'll design you an aero hose clamp. It'll be a deal at $39.99 I'd hate to see such a pretty frame ruined by the dirty air caused by a conventional hose clamp!

If it is carbon we can sell them on ST for $59.00 at least!
I'm probably going to mount an XLAB Torpedo system on the aerobars and Carbon Wing on the rear. That should be plenty, especially if you toss two bottles at an aid station and take two on.

Ooooooo...that is one pretty bike. I'm sure just riding on something so cool looking will make you faster!
I'm already plotting my new/used tri bike build-up for spring. Can't wait!

@Paul - did the bike come with a saddle 2 bottle cage holder? It is listed in the specs as included.
I still think it is kinda lame that they do not include bosses for a frame mounted bottle...
