Week 2 done and dusted. 12+ miles in 90 min. today got me a training effect of 3.2!? But I get 155 TSS because my threshold pace is a little low. I think we earned some rest tomorrow. On another topic: got to see my daughters indoor track team get their rings for winning the Ohio Valley indoor title last year. She is a freshman so... no ring for her, but how cool would that be?
@Andrew, I had the same issue with my 310 today, so I used the visual markers I know on the path and ran RPE. It was a great, sunny 45 degree day, so I felt pretty good about losing some of the structuring and enjoying the weather.
With work travel, I'll be doing a lot of running the next couple weeks, and I'm hoping I don't lose much on the bike with only getting weekend rides.
@ Andrew- no run is ever "inefficient training effort". Good for you on getting out there and doing it and trying for PE. I bet you will feel great running next week.
Since I am training for a marathon workouts are loosely based on Daniel's A plan. I am keeping the running easier as I build volume(and adjust to hard bike stuff) , so not a very ENesque week in terms of intensity.

Today's run officially sucked! Was hoping for much better. Great ride and run yesterday, staying in zones... Today, I could not get legs and/or lungs to fire on the same cylinders. We'll get 'em this week!
