Well, that was a rough final few weeks. Hit my goal of 160 on Wednesday, and my lowest for the challenge the next day at 159.7. Definitely the most challenging weeks I've experienced from a body comp perspective. A higher volume of running saved my bacon for sure. I almost threw in the towel as the restricted calories was affecting the quality of my wko's, but found a way push through to the end.
Now comes the challenge of maintaining the gains, or losses I've worked hard at attaining. Thank you all for the motivation and encouragement these past 10 weeks.
147.6 this morning. Just squeaked under my goal of 148. Thanks to Scott D and all the rest of you peeps for helping me get to race weight. In fact I have been in both of Scott's weight loss threads and started around 170. So a big shout out to Scott. Now to maintain that weight.
Weighed in over the weekend at a low of 165.6 versus a target of 167 lbs. Started the challenge at 176 lbs, and was at a jolly 179 lbs when I signed up for IMLP last August. I am eating normally again because this is a test week for me - FTP and swim/run time trials. Will go back to sucking weight next week. I am hoping to get down to 163 lbs by July.
