  • Thanks @Coach Patrick Just having a plan of sorts helps in many ways.

    Stupid question: What is the "the Bike Focused Plan" (phase 2 above)? Is that Full Bike Focused or something else?

    And for the first 2 phases - do I use the start of end date.

  • @Andrew Lustigman - we want you to use the begetting dates for those plans. So today April 28 will be the first of the four weeks of your balance stability program. Then you will progress to the bike focus block, six weeks, on May 11. It's under the specificity programs:

    More so than any specific workout, our top goal right now is just to keep you consistent. We need to have a schedule in place to sustain your athletic rhythm. Not just fitness, but also just a basic rhythm of your life. Things are going to go on regardless of whether or not you work out, and if you don't prioritize your training it will never happen.

    The goal here is to give you some confidence that you can execute a program, and then build off of that confidence and consistency into a program that will give you some actual functional fitness benefits. To put another way, we are lowering the bar for achievement just briefly so we can get you re-engaged again.
