Well i decided that i had to try and follow my team mates dedication. 20 mile run 6@tp. Now time to refuel and enjoy this lovely day in Philadelphia. Love this madness.
I guess a picture worth a 1000 words they say. Well after yesterday's run it was time to do a little run to recover with good footing. So goal was punch out 20 pts, done 3 hrs, 17 mi = 20 pts. Till tomorrow gang. Time to get on the bike for Badger boy. And to all the challenge teammates "WTG" on all your run's and preseverence ! Oh and Simon I think we got your point !
Hey Carl, it may not have been as long but I guarantee you that YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS. Simon can verify how nasty this terrain can be and I just spent almost 2 hours and 10 miles on those trails.
2:23, 13 miles, last one was at my 10K pace (how, I don't know but I did) and below 32F.
I just couldn't take the pressure so my ass jumped back on the trainer and knocked out 10 more for a total miles of 20 today. I took my time and made sure it took 3 hours for the 3 extra points and 2 points for 2 miles over threshold........BOOM
I'm jumping into the party here a little late-I worked a lot last week with a lot of call (including working all night Christmas eve). Now I'm off for the next week and hope to add some miles to my tally! Its 60-70s here in the Scottsdale desert so no bonus points for me. 7 miler today at z1-z2 so one bonus point for 'hour'. Any bonus points for running with 3 dogs??
@Carl-I joined the Badger team last year so I will jump in this year too! You are an animal, killing it with the miles
Today I ran 10.03 miles in ~20 degree temps in Pittsburgh. I also did ~1,200’ of ascent during the run. I was cursing the course I took because it caused me to run about a minute per mile slower than normal. Don't you all think we should get a bonus point for say every 1,000' of ascent???
just under 6 miles in right at an hour. None at TP I will take the 5 + 1. That Sat Bike interval took it out of me today. and running in the rain isn't the greatest either. Beats snow though
There are some real animals attacking this challenge! Today's bike workout with new zones was tough followed by an easy TM run. I live to fight another day.
Cold + Rain + bronchitis recovery forced me inside on a treadmill today (BOOO!!!!) Wanted a hour but pulled the plug at 5 miles (got tired of staring at my chest on the in-operable tv jammed in my face). 2 @ TP. 7 points.
Yesterday's run was 7.39 miles in 1:03. 2 miles above TP. 10 points. Last 2 miles miles were in a chilly rain. Today's run will be later this afternoon.
Been running every day since Christmas, gonna try to keep it up for 3 more days. Need to get back on the bike tomorrow. Lets see how a brick workout feels after all that running with no rest days since last tuesday.
Well here we are Day 5 ,was a hard day to complete. I may have had a smile at the start but by 10 mi mark more like a snarl. I just had to push as best I could and watch my footing knowing the Badger was coming up on me. Well it is done and the body needed some rehab today so a much needed pool and hot tub action this afternoon. I was watching out for Carl's health today so he dosen't exhaust himself and do 2 runs a day so this is a late posting. In all covered just over 18 miles and 15 min slow than day 3. No TP's,1 for sub zero, total 22 and that's all I got today ! See you all at Day #6
Just back from my visit with Bro and family in MA. Went to see his son Zachary who is all but done with BUDS... pinning ceremony in 2 weeks then heading to Ft Bragg for the SWCA in the medic program.
Managed to get runs in both days but only 4 miles each day.
Sat just after I got there.... 47 degrees and sunny! Wow was that nice!

AMEN!!!!! Nice work. Also when it was as cold as it was today that should be a point for each mile ran in that misery!!!!
Same basic run I have completed all week. 7 miles in 1:01 2 miles above TP 10 points Legs are getting a little tired but I'm gonna make it til the end!
Ended up working today even though not supposed to have to. Thanks to the challenge, I did come home and get in 6 in 1 hour so 7 points for team Badger. No TP points and certainly no cold weather points-perfect 60 degree running weather!
Day # 6 peeps, time to dig deep and Carl thanks for that image, my eyes are a "'Hurtin" but alas a motivating pic. Thank god I was not drinking my coffee. Today will be a treadmill run. Dang the Team Challenge is heating up. Dark horse Team IM is killing it with "pts per athlete". Badger family team needs some love. Good ole boy's are trudging along and Brian needs some support. We seem to have lost the Middle Geogia mafia or as suspected "just staying off the radar" as they say. Red nose reindeers are steady as they go and will make it to 2014(clap clap clap)! Well Stefan repping the European Sleeper cell needs some teammates, feeling lonely across the pond. C'mon let's see a lone wolf join up and call yourselves Team International, maybe "Coach "P ", . Well Ottawa Sleeper Cell has grown by one more and now stands at 4, "strength in numbers we are". To the finish peeps, all have an awesome run day and PS it's freakin cold here today -29 C(-20 F) with wind -33 C(-27 F) ! So today I am all in on Westy's team today doing the Deadmill mary man thingy !

I'm Plugging along but I am definitely impressed by some of the numbers being put on the board. This is my first OS and I am a little concerned about screwing it up as the weeks get harder so I am playing it safe.
By next year I might be more inclined to try and hang with the big boys. Try being the key word here.
Have a great night team.
AMEN!!!!! Nice work. Also when it was as cold as it was today that should be a point for each mile ran in that misery!!!!
Well damn I have a whopping two peeps on my team.....BRING IT.....
