  • So true Melissa, as I hang my head, eyes to the ground don't look attitude, call me a muffin compared to that duo !

  • Not much for me to say that I haven't already said. For me it was fun to keep the running streak alive and it was good training for me. It was right at the peak of my training for my race next week in Florida. It was just plain FUN.

Looking forward to the OS now and seeing what damage I can do. Really want to get faster on the run and stay steady on the bike.

Until we meet again-Peace be with you all ")........The Snow Angel.

  • Hey Peter, Isabelle,

Thanks for the tip about Hokas. I'm going to need some new shoes soon, so I think I'll try a pair. You both make it sound like something I should give a go, especially with all the extra miles I'm going to be doing in the next five months.

  • Check out the review on this link. Some other companies have also come out with high padding shoes. Hoka specializes in them but you may see a shoe from your favorite brand here.

  • Thanks again Peter! I hadn't realised so many others had entered the "max cushion" category. It's good to have a few different options to try - I'll definitely go try a few different ones on.
