Hi Marc, thanks again for all your work on this. One design point I would like to see is for the headers to remain visible at the top row so that those of us further down the list could know what we're looking at.

and while we're at it, numerical indexing (rankings)
@Steve: Indexing by what? W/Kg? Doesn't the sorting take care of that? Plus I'm not sure this needs to be a site-wide competition.
I'm working on having the headers stay visible while scrolling, but one of the trade-offs of being able to get the site up so fast is that some things are *much* harder to implement than others (for the technical, trying to get fixed table headers using angular & ui-bootstrap and have it still be responsive is a freaking nightmare!) And unfortunately my day job needs my full coding attention for now, sorry. I should have some more time this weekend maybe.
In the meantime, if any other coders out there want to contribute to my angular/node/bootstrap3 project, I'd be more than happy to grant you access to my github repo.
Big Shout out to David Richmond for a 25% W/Kg gain so far!!! Peter Noyes and Doug Johnson also both north of 15% gains!!!
Many other honorable mentions so far with a bunch more people with double digit gains.
Inspiring efforts by all. Personally my weight has been coming down nice and steady, but honestly I'm struggling to keep the FTP even where it is as the weight comes off. I have a Big Bike Week in 2 weeks, then will take a week off to rest and then test again to see if I can eek out a gain.
Ha ha, I'm in a similar boat as Peter and David...My starting FTP (although based on a really good test performance) of 264 was artificially low due to slacking off for 5-6 weeks from end of November to beginning of January. It was probably more like mid to high 270's.
But, I agree, seeing all of the awesome work and the increases being made makes me want to work that much harder. Keep it up everyone!
So I got ta ask a question now that we have the ever so changing spread sheet figured out."What is the standard protocol we use(applied to all) for our FTP scoring. Do we weigh in once a week say Monday for weight?? What do we do as a measured metric to get the ftp.Do we use EN testing protocol on a scheduled basis or just plunk in a number anytime we see a change ??? Feed back needed and welcomed ! I feel a level field is a good idea here !
I'll just throw in my 2cents ... I weight in at least 2x/week and use a balanced average value of all measurements for a week. If I see some important change I update the WKK sheet.
For FTP I think we should all use the same protocol - EN 5'+20' for testing. Although I will not test FTP when my plan doesn't call out for it I think it's legitimate to update FTP values upon certain obvious changes to your critical-peak-power curve!
Please remember this is NOT a challenge against others - all the others are just in the same boat to inspire and push you!! This is a challenge against yourself so don't lie to yourself
I post the WKK on the dashboard every Monday because that's the schedule the original spreadsheet was using for a weigh in. If you guys want me to post it on a different day/not at all or someone else wants to do it that's fine.
I have been entering my weight on Mondays but I don't use my weight from that day because I don't feel it's accurate. I'm in the OS so (on Mondays) I just had 2 days of really hard training and typically my weight is a couple pounds less than say a Tuesday or Saturday when I've had a day and a half of rest. So I use the preceding Saturday's weight which for me is a good indicator of my real weight.
As far as FTP testing goes I don't use the 5/20 testing protocol. I've tried it a couple times and I kill my legs during that 5 minutes and can't get them back for the 20 minute interval. I use the 2X20 method. I don't think it matters how we're testing our FTP as long as it's an accurate measure.
This is a cool way for us to track our progress and make ourselves accountable. I personally don't care when a person weighs in or how they test their FTP or how frequently they test as long as they're being honest.
I'm using the WKK as a way to keep myself accountable and consistent. (The friendly banter and comparisons are motivation for me as well...) I update my weight every Monday and use the average of my Sat, Sun, Mon weight to enter I the sheet. I do the 5-10-20 standard EN test, but people can use whatever test they want as long as they are consistent. People should have a good number to train with, not the specific test that would standardize a WKK club. As long as you are consistent with yourself, the "gains" will be standardized.

i do the EN standard 20' FTP test and always on the same hill so i can really see/feel the improvment. I will test when the plan call for it or if i feel there is a significant change in my FTP. I will weight-in on monday when Doug call us in. The monday weigh-in keeps my junkfood eating self in check during the weekend. Like Doug and JW said, it doesn't really matter how u test and when u weight-in as long as u use the same protocol all the time.
January OS is testing today. I made it back to the 300 club today at 305 watts! Today's test done on the trainer ties for my highest ever test which I did outside in summer 2012. I'm not sure how many more watts I can gain from here on out. I think the biggest increase from this point on will come from improving my body comp. I believe that I can get down to 160 or even a little lower without losing any power but I'll have to really pay attention to get there.
I added a chart showing W/Kg change over time.Click on the name on the Main page and it should pop up. Hover (or press if you're on a phone or tablet) to see the Weight & FTP for that point.
You'll need to have more than one Weight & FTP entry for the line to show up. Enjoy!

I've finished the Add Member functionality, so if you're missing from my list you can now add yourself:

Let me know if there's any issues. Now I have to take a break from coding before my weekend is over
Next up on the feature list: charts for weight/ftp/w/kg over time!
Thanks for doing this Marc, it's awesome.
FYI, I've now updated the first post to include a link to Marc's new tracking website
Official WKK Tracking Site here
Make sure you do a hard reload as a lot of modern browsers like to cache these new web apps.

Marc....thanks so much for taking the time and sharing your expertise with us in creating this. Very slick.
BTW, I have no idea what any of the stuff in the second two paragraphs means!

I tried putting FTP in there too but since most people's FTP is much higher than their weight they don't work on the same axis.
