@All: we can add a column with weight in lbs, but i would prefer we keep the sheet simple and all use the same units (Watts/kg) so we can buid graphs comparing progression, ranking, etc...
Ok. So added my numbers, but I am a little disappointed... I thought this was like a "spreadsheet squad". I am lame and use internet sites for all my training, but even I could make that sheet. Where is all the whiz bang programming? The formulas? I had to use my phone to convert to kilos and even had to write my own "=watts/kilos" formula. Talk about a let down....
hahaha. Just kidding, just kidding, put your mice down....
@John - I didn't think about jumping on my bike and bumping my numbers. I thought about skipping lunch and having sparkling water for dinner..... I need to attack the with side. I am shorter than you.....
Alright, I'm in and playing along. i've got weight I can lose and FTP I can gain since I just started the OS a week ago. Look out boys, I'm comin' for ya! ;-)
this stuff is so fun! I feel like I am 16 again!!!! talkin smack with the toughest kid in the school! Sooner or later I will get my butt kicked...AGAIN.
I've been paying close attention and since I've been eating a different way, I was excited to calculate since I'm already at previous race weight vs. the +12 lbs that I usually have over the wiinter.......HOWEVER, being on the tri-bike, in the pain cave is just killing the watts. I'll pay more attention in March when I jump on the roadie outside....in the past this has been worth around 25-30 watts. It's all relative.....
Since Dino said we're lame, I took a crack at building a slightly different spreadsheet (instead of doing anything productive today at work). I Americanized the other one and set it up slightly differently... When I get home I'll see if I can upload it as a goggle doc (I don't even want to try that from my iPad).
Make this into an official challenge during the OS next year. People within each OS group could compete against each other breaking it down into men, women, AG's. There's obviously some amazing talent on the team so maybe it could be broken down further into "elite" and "normal" or whatever terms people aren't offended by. The coaches would have to come up with a magical W/Kg number that would categorize you into "elite" and "normal."
"Prizes" could be given at the end of the OS for men's/women's overall highest W/Kg, highest W/Kg in each men's/women's AG broken down again into "elite/normal", and biggest improvement in W/Kg from beginning of the OS to end of the OS. The "prizes" could be a badge you get to put in your signature line on the website and the obvious bragging rights you would get for the rest of the season.
It would be awesome if after you weigh in each week the spreadsheet automatically updated to show your current W/Kg ranking overall and in your AG and the previous week's position.
just some thoughts...
A spreadsheet could be created where people weigh in on a weekly basis
@Peter, no worries (I still think it's a cool idea)...like I said earlier, I have no idea how to create the spreadsheets. I'm sure it would be complicated to create that spreadsheet and a lot of work for someone.

Doug, I can't really speak for Brenda but after reading your post I think she'll want to kill you if that plan goes forward.
And I was just joking.
