they would just roll their eyes-I am a fitness instructor by day so they are used to spin class, body pump, power yoga and the list goes on. Life is an adventure
Back at it today. Decided to repeat all of Week 6. Those Day 1 sets are killer. Still couldn't get more than the suggested number for max last set And that was with extra rest.
But the massage therapist complimented me on the new muscles, so this is working!

I agree that day 1 I dread Good for you to repeat week six. I am such a goal oriented person and really like to complete the goal and go on to something else...the thought of repeating weeks, is mentally taxing for me! Oh and YEAH for new muscles
Posted By Suzanne Kinsky on 27 Jan 2010 08:17 PM Sweet! Just finished Week 5, Day 3 and did them all on my toes except the last max set. Grr, I'm an animal!
AWESOME!!! Suzanne, great to hear from some of the other chickas in this challenge!
Final test this morning; only could make 75. Sort had that feeling....ah well, back to week 6. Michele are you adding your 77 to the spreadsheet as well?
Posted By Matt Ancona on 28 Jan 2010 11:32 AM I'm impressed the women are cleaning up in this challenge!
Where did all the guys go?
I have one more day in week 6 and than I'll give the final test a try.
Yeah, the ladies are seriously killing it and I absolutely love it! I fell off the push-up boat last week due to the storms we had in SoCal and the subsequent flooding to my home (still waiting on insurance to get here). That said, I don't think I could have done 100 straight anyhow, so I hopped back on week 5 just last night. I'll redo weeks 5 and 6 and then do the final test.

Heck yeah! I may not have reached 100, but I am very proud of what I did achieve! I will stay with it, but not sure I'll post to spreadsheet unless we all agree to do same.

Ok, just added my 75. I wonder if we can add like a redo column on the spreadsheet? That would be nice!

I absolutely think there should be a 2nd Final Test column on the spreadsheet, so I added one
Like many others, I'm going to get to a hundred no matter how many weeks it takes.
Posted By Sheryl Leonard-Schneck on 29 Jan 2010 07:43 AM Listen to you two-ONLY 77 ONLY 75-that is a great jump, 100 is just around the corner-you go girls
So here I am repeating week 6 to try again in the future for 100 in a row. Had an epiphany. Maybe this will help others...
I was in column 3 up until ending week 5. Then my week 5/6 test put me in column 2 for week 6. We all know I didn't make 100. So I am repeating Week 6, Day 3, column 2 today when it occurred to me that I should move up to column 3 before trying again. So beginning Wednesday I will start Week 6 column 3 but back to Day 1. I am thinking that I will do that week twice before trying to test again.
Today my max set I made 60. Of course I took a 4 minute rest after the other sets and before the max last set.
Started week 6 over today. Did day one column 2. Knees and toes. Good idea Michele with your idea of switching columns, I will be interested in the results I have feeling you will be the next EN Chicka to rock 100!
Well... the first 50 felt great and then it got really tough around 60. I ended up getting 85 in for my week 6 test. Not to bad since my first test was 26.

Time to repeat week 6 until I get it!
Aw, Matt, 85!!! You almost made it!! IT really gets tough at the end and your thinking, just 15 more...seems like forever. Keep pushing, you will get it....at least that is what I am telling myself
Posted By Scott Alexander on 02 Feb 2010 09:24 AM Posted 200 last night as Week 5 comes to a close. Going to retest tomorrow to see how down I am, then probably repeat week 6 indefinitely.
Posted By Nemo Brauch on 02 Feb 2010 11:01 AM I got to 55 on my 100 test. Still lots of work to do, but well worth the "55? Wow that's great" that I got from my hubby!
55, way to go Nemo!!!! More than half way there. I was wondering when you were going to post, you have been quiet on here lately. I was hoping you hadn't left us Like Michele, said, seems like we are all back to week 6...again! Oh and yeah for quote from DH!

Week 6 INDEFINITELY....don't say that
I meant indefinitely in the manner that it'll just be my standard push-up workout, 3 days a week, from now on. Not like I will repeat it forever and NEVER reach the 100. The goal is still 100, but I also wanted this challenge to get me in a routine of doing them.
Posted By Michele Cellai on 02 Feb 2010 01:47 PM Hey! Tell him the 55 is awesome when you consider where you started from!! Is he still doing the challenge or did he finish?
Oh- he totally gets brownie points for being supportive and giving me kudos for coming so far in just a few weeks. He's still working on getting to 100 and didn't make it on his first attempt. So he's repeating week 6 now too. It's fun with us both now trying to be the first one to reach 100!
I got up to 64 today!! in 5-6 sets, forget now... but my most now! I am doing pushups after I swim 2x week and I do them right off the bat so I don't wimp out and pick something easier like abs! (for me) military style and I noted a bit "easier" today so I think I might be making progress!!! I started at 24 I think, back whenever we started so I am "pumped", m

I am still going strong. Probably be repeating Week 6 over and over again until I get what I want!!!

We are all in this repeat phase it seems.
